About Us

Vision & Purpose

Driven by a deep passion to create unique spaces, Colors of Design is a full interior design firm that design homes from concept to completion throughout United States. We like to create spaces that are harmonic, modern and timeless classic. Our company creates custom interiors that are either take before the property brakes ground to simple renovations or design consultations.

Based in Miami and with presence in Ashville NC, Vero Beach FL and Key Biscayne FL, we help clients all the way in the design process. Our designers and collaborators each work in floor plan development, design drawings, custom cabinetry, finishes and selection of furniture as well as window treatments, aesthetics and turnkey project development and installations.

We like to evolve in the use of textures and shapes, space planning, Interior lighting design, period design, within other applications. We love to use materials and colors that inspire. Each project that we create is unique and it is exclusive to the particular client; and every client is different.

Our multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, and craftsman are dedicated to deliver high levels of detail and creative expression to all of our projects.

About the Team

Margaret Van Puffelen - Interior Designer - Colors of Design

Margaret

Born in Viña del Mar, Chile; Margaret studied Decorative Arts in Bellas Artes in her city. She explored these arts in USA by working for Smith architects, Leonard Pardon and Richard Palmer Design in Palm Beach FL decorating large homes.

The path of decorative art took her to study Interior Design and interior architecture at Miami International University of Art and Design, where she graduated with a Bachelors degree of Fine Arts of Interior Design.

Margaret pursues her career as an interior designer while she was working on projects for clients from United States & Latin America. As today Margaret and her team at Colors of Design develop projects for clients from all over the country, surrounded by a great and talented team that are experienced, and committed to deliver above and beyond the standard for all projects big or small.

William Riveros - Creative Interior Designer - Colors of Design

William Riveros

William is a talented interior designer. He completed his academic studies as an Architect in Bolivia and moved to Miami to continue his education and professional practice. His outgoing personality always takes him to new challenges and learning experiences. William evolves in projects in London, New York and Miami.

Driven by passion and achievements William talents are an asset for our Interior design firm. His love and passion for design is fueled by travel experiences, and exploration. He enjoys exploring new spaces, visiting art exhibitions and on weekends he is the happiest when he immerses himself in a project or discovers and learns new creative outlets such as Virtual Reality for interior design, using new design trends from new software and painting. All of these are an inspiration to him.

William combines his hobbies with his daily work creating environments where he can thrive and evolve what bring him to create great interior design project’s ideas. William is an asset to our company.

Ulysses - Creative Interior Designer - Colors of Design

ULI

With a degree in Architecture and General Construction from University of Mexico, Ulysses specialized in Interior Design, Architecture, Conceptual Visualization and Space Planning.

With a wide experience in companies such as FREE, Fernando Romero and Michel Rojkind and on projects in Mexico, USA, Latin American and Europe, Ulysses brings a highly valuable skill set to Colors of Design, where his expertise will help to put together beautiful projects for our clients.

Ulysses has the respect of clients and colleges in the design industry with his work ethics and detail orientated work. His amazing work has been publicized on specialty architectural magazines and companies around the world.
